2013 RUSSIA-UKRAINE MISSION TRIP

2013 RUSSIA-UKRAINE MISSION TRIP REPORTS

  • REPORT 1: LEAVING TO RUSSIA & UKRAINE (APRIL 18th)

Bob & Teenage Exorcists leaving Phoenix Airport April 18.As you read this I’ll be passing through Warsaw, Poland, arriving in Kiev, Ukraine, and driving from there to Kharkov, Ukraine. Just getting there is exhausting. Then, we hit the ground running with our first meeting Saturday night. During this mission, I’ll speak 12 out of 15 days, with the remainder of the time spent traveling thousands of miles by car and plane across Ukraine, Russia, and far away Siberia. By the time I get home I’ll have spoken to more than 20,000 people and ministered deliverance to thousands.

Thanks to the kindness of our supporters, the three Teenage Exorcists, including my 18-year-old daughter Brynne, will be with me all the way, except for Siberia. Together we’ll have the privilege of spending at three full days training 500+ Bible college students, along with hundreds of pastors. By faith we expect a huge youth revival to be ignited that will spiritually change that part of the world forever. The TV cameras of Vice Media from England, and a crew of four people, will follow us everywhere. They are doing a special report for Vice, one of the hottest new internet media companies with 1.2 million daily viewers.

Please pray for strength, endurance, favor and great anointing. During this mission we’ll conduct hundreds, if not thousands of exorcisms, some individually and some by mass deliverance. Thousands more will witness God’s power and turn their lives to Christ. As time permits I’ll be sending special reports. We are so grateful to all our friends and supporters who have made this mission possible. Now, on to the former Soviet Union where miracles await.

  • REPORT: 2 ARRIVING IN KIEV, UKRAINE

Pastor Bob & The Teenage Exorcists arrive in Kiev Ukraine.Thirty hours after boarding a plane in Phoenix, Arizona, we arrived at our first destination — Kharkov, a city of 2 million souls, plus half a million college students. It’s a few miles from the Russian border and the educational center of Ukraine. Our plane landed in Kiev, the northern capital of the country. We were met by our organizers who supplied a van to take all of us to Kharkov, five bumpy hours on less-than-smooth Ukrainian roads. We made our way across the countryside with spring in full bloom. This bitterly cold country in winter is beginning to come alive. Crops are being planted, trees are budding, and the temperature is warm in the 70s. (After here it’s on to Siberia so I’m grateful for the respite.)

Why come halfway around the world when there are plenty of opportunities to bring the message of salvation and deliverance elsewhere? After more than three decades of ministry in 100+ countries I can honestly say that Russia and Eastern Europe are the most exciting places for spiritual breakthroughs anywhere on the planet. Fervor for the Lord is more intense here than anywhere I’ve been, and this is my fifth journey here in four years. The reason is simple. This part of the world is getting a fresh breath of freedom since the fall of the Soviet Empire in 1991, just 22 years ago. Other parts of the world have had decades, even centuries, to experience the fruits of the Gospel. But Eastern Europe has been dominated with atheism for half a century, Russia for a century. Evangelical Christianity is exploding with intensity like nowhere else. The music and worship are bold and intense. The preaching is uncompromising. Very young pastors with youthful constituents are seeing congregations grow into the thousand, sometimes in a matter of months.

But challenges remain. After so many years of Hitler’s Nazism and Stalin’s Communism there’s a spiritual vacuum. That was evident as we drove across the countryside on our way to the first meeting in Kharkov. We slowed down to pass through a small farming village. There, in the main square was a 15 foot tall, imposing statue of Lenin, architect of Communism and murderer of millions. Why it is still there is anyone’s guess. Tradition, apathy, irrelevance, fear of reprisals from still-loyal Communists? That statue is a visible symbol of the shadow of institutional atheism that still lingers over this land. That’s why I’m here, with the Teenage Exorcists; to spiritually dismantle what that statue stands for by bringing the hope of Christ and the message of deliverance from the bondage of unbelief. To all those who have helped to support this mission, thank you.

  • REPORT 3: KHARKOV, UKRAINE

The auditorium in Kharkov. Kharkov, Ukraine, a city of two million including 500,000 university students, is known as the educational center of Ukraine. It was the kick-off location for the Pastor Bob & Teenage Exorcists Eastern Europe and Russia tour. Nearly 1,500 people packed the huge auditorium. Brynne, Tess, and Savannah (the Teenage Exorcist) started things with a mass curse-breaking prayer. Bob then spoke on a Biblical text about demonic possession. Hundreds of people manifested demons and were brought to the front of the huge auditorium. Bob then appealed for youth under age 25 to join the team on the massive stage to help cast out demons. Hundreds streamed forward with enthusiasm. Savannah, on her first mission commented, “It brought tears to my eyes to see this kind of passion among Christian kids, something you’d never see in America.” As an unexpected feature, just before he spoke, Pastor Bob was asked to perform a wedding for a Ukrainian couple.

  • REPORT 4: PERSHOTRAVENSK, UKRAINE

31Pershotravensk is the city where the New Generation Bible College is located. The local congregation of the New Generation movement hosted Bob and the Teenage Exorcist for two Sunday services to kick off three days of intensive training in spiritual warfare. Nearly 3,000 people attended the services, including 500 students from the College. Sunday evening the Teenage Exorcists performed a remarkable exorcism on a violent man named Alexander. When Bob first approached him in the audience, he fell to the ground convulsing violently. He was brought on stage and had to be restrained to prevent harm coming to anyone. Eventually, Brynne, Tess, and Savannah uncovered a four-generation curse of a demon of Death and cast out the evil spirit. Afterwards, the exorcists were informed that Alexander was married to a young woman named Natasha and both were attending the College to study for ministry. They were the proud parents of anew child. But the story gets more interesting. Natasha was delivered when Bob was in this same city three years ago. At that time she had been involved in prostitution because of childhood molestation. After her deliverance in 2010 her life dramatically turned around and now she and Alexander have a wonderful Christian family.

At the end of the Sunday evening in Pershotravensk, Bob invited youth under to come on stage and learn exorcism. Out of the hundreds who manifested that evening, Bob picked about 40 special cases for the College students to work with. The Teenage exorcists guided the students for special hands-on-in-action experience in deliverance.

  • REPORT 5: NEW GENERATION BIBLE COLLEGE, UKRAINE

    31

Four days at the New Generation Bible College may have been some of the most significant days fulfilling the vision of this ministry. Scores of exorcism were done on student body members. Unlike an American Christian college audience which would have likely approached deliverance with skepticism and even cynicism, the youth of this College enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to get free from spiritual bondage. Students came from all across Europe and scores manifested demons every day. Nearly half the student body was from Russia. More than half regularly watch Bob”s YouTube exorcism channel.rnrnOne remarkable deliverance was done on a huge Lithuanian man named Edgar. He was the victim of the curse of Bashan (Numbers chapter 21) going back thousands of years. He was so violent that it took nine men to subdue his demons. The internet TV crew from Vice Media was deeply moved by the dramatic display of God”s power. The host of the documentary they were shooting, an admitted lapsed Catholic, even asked to participate in an exorcism. This TV star came on stage and got up close with a dramatic case of possession that Brynne Larson was dealing with. When it was over and the demon”s victim collapsed in tears of joy, the TV host embraced her with genuine compassion.rnrnBob taught on all the unique aspects of this ministry, including ancestral alters, Dissociative Identity Disorder, and Dissociated Soul Transference. Every session was received with thunderous applause of appreciation. Plans have been made to make our International School of Exorcism® available as an adjunct to the college with complete Russian language translation.

  • REPORT 6: NOVOMOSKOVSK, UKRAINE

511Novomoskovsk, Ukraine, means “new Moscow,” so named by Katherine the Great because she liked the region so much and wanted to build another “Moscow” there. After nearly six hours of teaching at the Bible College in Pershotravensk, plus a two-hour car ride to Novomoskovsk, Bob and the Teenage Exorcists were ready to go again. The three hour meeting there resulted in dozens being delivered. As Bob walked through the audience of nearly 1,000 people, dozens manifested with extreme physical violence. As is usually the case in such services, Bob focused on one person to demonstrate the process of deliverance. In this case it was a woman named Olga. She had been raped at five years of age and never dealt with the issue. This opened the door for a demon of Anger. After Olga’s exorcism, scores of youth under the age of 30 were called on stage and organized into groups so that Bob and the Teenage Exorcists could train them hands-on how to cast out demons.

About two hours’ drive from Novomoskovsk, the smaller city of Ternovka hosted a large meeting of more than 500 people who jammed a public auditorium to meet Bob and the team. Two dramatic exorcisms highlighted the evening. Vitali manifested quickly when Bob confronted demons. He staggered to the front of the auditorium and fell on the floor in writhing, screaming agony. He was carried on stage and held by five strong men while his demons were dealt with, including a spirit of Death and Rejection. Many others were also manifesting demons by that time, but Bob selected a woman named Maria, who was even more violent than Vitalli. She was a recovering addict and also had a demon of Death. The Teenage Exorcists handled this exorcism to demonstrate the truth of 1Timothy 4:12: Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. The cameras of Vice Media, the world’s largest Internet entertainment network, captured both exorcisms on camera.

Podolsk, a suburb of Moscow, hosted Bob and the Teenage Exorcists for a lively Sunday morning service. Unlike churches in America that treat Sunday as a quick-in-and-out gathering, this Russian congregation prayed, worshipped, and listened for more than three hours. The Christian praise band, comprised of all ex-drug addicts, led in worship for more than an hour. After Bob’s message, one of the church leaders, also a recovering addict named Katchia, violently manifested. Bob and the Teenage Exorcists uncovered an ancient Egyptian curse of the demon-god Horus, who incested his own sister, Isis (Jezebel). After themeeting, the sponsoring church treated Bob and his team to an elegant dinner of Russian delicacies in appreciation for what God had done.

  • REPORT 9: MOSCOW, RUSSIA

For a second time, Bob returned to this city of 20 million souls, following his first visit in 2011. The excited crowd came from as far away as Ukraine and Saratov, on the Volga more than a day’s journey by train. In an unusual gesture, scores of people streamed forward at prayer time to lay dozens of articles of clothing for Pastor Bob to pray over and bless. (This was likely a reflection of their Russian Orthodox background of believing in blessed objects.) Others by the hundreds pleaded for Bob to anoint or touch their heads as an expression of blessing. A remarkable exorcism took place when a woman in the audience named Elena suddenly went into a semi-catatonic state. Her body became so contorted that she had to be practically carried to the front for ministry. Interestingly, Bob had spoken that night on Matthew 17, the story of a man with an epileptic son who suffered seizures so serious he tried to kill himself. It was this Word that caused the demon to react. Once Bob and the Teenage Exorcists began to pray, Elena became very violent. A stubborn spirit of Leviathan claimed that he had a 10-generation right. Elena’s deliverance was all the more remarkable, remembering that this city was once the center of international Communist oppression.

  • REPORT 10: UFA, RUSSIA

The sign outside the largest auditorium in Ufa, Russia proclaimed the coming concert of rock groups The Scorpions, Guns ‘n Roses, and Ozzy Osbourne. But before these bands could unleash their evil, Bob, his team, and more than a thousand Christians filled the “Light of Ufa Coliseum” with God’s power, displayed through victory over Satan. Scores of attendees manifested demonic activity during prayer time after Bob’s message; but Bob felt led to work with two individuals. A lady named Snezhana was set free from demons of Death. When asked what she felt as Bob rebuked evil spirits, Snezhana said, “I was overwhelmed by an intense hatred for Pastor Bob.” Another woman named Leanna said that during the service she suddenly remembered being molested as a child. At the conclusion of the meeting, hundreds more streamed forward for prayers of deliverance. Both Bob and Pastor Edra Hayes, our national DWJD® deliverance teams Director, also ministered privately to many people. A special highlight of this mission took place when Bob addressed a special, private gathering of more than 100 Christian leaders, counselors, and psychologists in the city. As a sponsoring pastor put it, “Until now all we knew was to yell at demons and tell them to go. Now, things will be different. You have given us a new understanding of how to minister spiritual warfare more wisely.”

  • REPORT 11: KEMEROVO, SIBERIA (Part 1)

As Bob’s plane landed in Kemerovo, Russia, there were still patches of snow on the ground, even in early May. The cool brisk air left no doubts, this was Siberia. But the warmth of the people was unlike any this ministry has experienced anywhere. Siberians are passionate about Christianity, in this land where believers were once sent to die in exile. Two nights of meetings in the New Generation church lived up to Bob’s assessment that the toughest demons anywhere are in Russia. Each night overflow crowds in excess of 500 people braved cold rain and ankle-deep mud, some of them walking miles to the under-construction church building.

The first night a young mother of three children named Jena exploded violently in the audience. Bob persisted in dealing with the demons until a 13 generation curse was disclosed. “I murdered 150 people,” the demon bragged of its ancient evil. At one point the evil spirit, using Jenya’s own hands, tried to choke her to death, and a violent struggle ensued. In fact, Jena had once tried to hang herself. When the exorcism was over, Jena had no recollection of what had happened, but the smile on her face left no doubt everyone had seen a miracle.

Natural gas and hot water are delivered, in this Siberian city, in a unique above-ground systems of pipes snaking throughout the city. Only half-finished, the New Generation church of Kemerovo, now sits in the middle of deep mud with difficult access. Still hundreds came!

  • REPORT 12: KEMEROVO, SIBERIA (Part 2)

As reported yesterday, Novokusnetsk, a Siberian city of 600,000 is noted as being one of the most drug-riddled places in Russia. The New Generation church, pastored by an ex-addict, is reaching those that the social systems are incapable of helping. The church operates a successful rehab center to reach the addicted youth of this embattled metropolis. One such young man named Viktor has been saved and off hard drugs only three months. As Bob paced the packed room rebuking Satan, Viktor exploded violently, thrashing about so severely that those trying to hold him were concerned he would injure himself. His slightly built frame convulsed with such strength that six of the biggest men in the room could scarcely handle him. Viktor was the victim of a three generation curse of murder that had driven him to the easily available hard drugs that hold one-fifth of the this city’s population in bondage. As Bob sat on the front row watching the unabashed enthusiasm of the worship team, he wept to realize that these precious young people, so filled with the joy of the Lord, were finding hope in Christ to change their lives in these despairing circumstances. One of the favorite drugs of this city is known as krokodil (crocodile) for the way that it turns users’ skin scaly and eats them from the inside-out, rotting the brains and limbs before a painful death. Thanks to the faith of this church and its young pastor, there is hope for the youth of Novokuznetsk.

  • REPORT 13: NOVOKUZNETSK, RUSSIA (Part 1)

Novokuznetsk, a city of more than 600,000 in Siberia, is unknown to most Americans. To Russians, it has unfortunately become famous for the fact that up to 20% of its citizens are addicted to drugs. International reports claims that Russia consumes 21 percent of the world’s heroin, which some say has this city in a death grip. Many youth here are also turning to a opiate called krokodil, by mixing codeine, petrol, and eye drops. In the midst of this tragic social condition, God has raised up a dynamic young church only 18 months old. Bob and his team arrived at a somewhat run-down, decaying structure that leaked water on parts of the crowd. Never mind. More than 500 people jammed the room, another hundred or more standing for over three hours. Both Pastor Alexander and his wife, who leads the worship band, are ex-addicts as are most of his church members. That may explain the enormous zeal and bombastic enthusiasm of the congregation which features one of the liveliest praise times Bob has ever seen.

Yana, 33-year-old ex-addict, was one of the first to manifest demons during Bob’s confrontation with demons. The mother of a 4 ½ year-old-daughter, she trembled and fell to the ground in spasms when Bob first approached her. Bob noticed that her arms were riddled with scars from her self-injurious cutting before becoming a Christian. During the exorcism Bob uncovered a generational curse going back to a grandmother (Babuska) named Agaphia (old Russian name) who was desperate for money to feed her family and consequently agreed to kill someone, using herbs to render her victim unconscious and then burying the person alive. The curse of Murder was broken and Yana was freed.
